This is a complete (as pictured) Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper Carbon 29 Singlespeed mountain bike. Just add pedals and go rip.
Own a piece of history! This was the lightest, sickest, singlespeed around in the 00s. It was so cool, RockShox made a fork just for this bike. It's amazing the hills you can climb on a 20 lb ride.
Originally this bike came with a 160 mm rotor in the front and a 140 mm rotor in the rear because, you know, lightweight. But that's just silly so I installed an adapter and 160 mm rotor in the rear. Way better.
I am the second owner and used to race this bike, mostly in 100-mile events. It's been on the podium at the Capitol Forest 100, the High Cascades 100, and several others. I quit racing bicycles in 2012 and since then it's only been ridden a few times. the fork has been serviced, there is still plenty of life in the brake pads, and the tires and chainring are almost new. The tires are tubeless compatible but I have removed the sealant and washed the tires so there isn't any buildup. The bike/frame has never suffered any significant impact. For sure I've gone down, but the bike has always escaped any damage.
This is a pure XC machine.
Note that the rear brake mount is part of the adjustable dropout so when you move the dropouts back to adjust for chain wear, the brake stays properly adjusted.
I keep getting asked if you can put a derailleur hanger on this bike and the answer is I don't think so. You'd need a hanger that was compatible with the adjustable dropouts and to my knowledge that does not exist.
