I purchased this bike new about 10 years ago but without the e-bike conversion. I have ridden it a lot but not so much lately. I had a shop install new tires and tubes, and a new back wheel including rim, spokes, hub bearings, disc and pads last summer. It was ridden 20 to 40miles since then. Just about everything else has been serviced or replaced at least once. It is used but not abused. These bikes are pretty good for single track as long as it’s not too steep or too soft. 4 years ago I purchased and installed a Bafang 1000 watt mid-drive along with a 17.4 AH 52 v Whale Shark battery which has the trusty Panasonic cells. I upgraded to the DPC-18 color display and the smart charger as well. The result is a lightweight 58 pound e-bike including its big frikkin battery. Many of those mass market bikes weigh close to 80# and come with a smaller no name battery. She’s pretty fast, about 36 mph on a full charge without pedaling and at that speed pedaling is useless anyway. My longest ride was 74.9 miles. There’s also a Topeak rack and the pannier bag. These are really cool cuz you can tuck the empty panniers into the top bags and then unclip and slide off the bag in 5 seconds and take it with you. I forgot to lock the battery in the track so it fell out on the road. Frikkin dummy. The case cracked but it didn’t hurt the batteries at all. It still charges up and works fine. I was going to Gorilla tape it but figured I would leave it as is so you can see what you are buying. Also included is a rear view mirror and a phone holder. I live in Silverdale but can meet you at the ferry in Bremerton which is why I added the Seattle location.
