This is an 8-week project in Tacoma with consistent hours, overtime opportunities, and the chance to work with a well-established construction client.
· PAY:
General Labor: $25–$26/hr
Low-Level Apprentice: $27–$28/hr
(Pay based on experience)
· HOURS: Expected shifts will be 4 ten-hour shifts, starting at 8:30 PM
· SCHEDULE: Primarily Monday–Thursday, with occasional Friday night overtime
· START DATE: 02/05/2025 (can start pending background check)
· DURATION: 8-week contract position
General Labor / Carpenter Apprentice Job Description
This position will support a large design-build renovation project in Tacoma. Duties include extensive jobsite maintenance, weather protection, demolition support, and site clean-up. Work will be performed indoors and outdoors during overnight hours.
Qualifications for General Labor / Carpenter Apprentice:
· Experience with site clean-up, demo support, and general labor tasks
· Comfortable performing hard physical labor in a fast-paced environment
· Experience with site maintenance and weather protection preferred
· Must be dependable and able to follow safety procedures
· Must be able to safely use hand tools and PPE
· Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing, and lifting
PPE / Tools Required:
· Steel-toe work boots
· Hard hat
· Safety vest
· Gloves
· Full PPE required on site
Additional Requirements:
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must have reliable transportation to the job site
· Pre-employment drug screen required
· Background check required
