Leasing and Marketing Agent (Pierce Co.)

compensation: Salary is dependent on experience and skills

We are an established Property Management Company seeking a highly motivated individual with exceptional customer service and organizational skills to serve as a Leasing and Marketing Agent; serving multiple properties throughout Pierce County. A Real Estate Brokers license and experience in property management is preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate!
Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Real Estate Brokers License or willing to obtain within 180 days of employment
- Thorough knowledge of WA State Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws
- Highly organized w/ exceptional attention to detail
- Sales and Marketing aptitude
- MS Office. Knowledge of Appfolio and Co-Star is helpful, but not required
- Motivated, punctual, energetic w/ a passion for learning
- Able to anticipate future needs and execute necessary tasks
- Technologically savvy w/ an aptitude for bringing new ideas to the table
- Must have reliable registered vehicle with proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license

Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling and conducting showings as units come available
- Qualify each prospect and processing applications on the spot
- Organize and conduct open house events, including newly built properties
- Develop online and print marketing plans for each property and maintain marketing files
- Track marketing conversions to interpret the effectiveness of each resource and change marketing plans accordingly
- Keep record of all rental inquiries for future follow up and utilize email campaigns to stay in touch with leads as new units come available
- Ensure vacant units are turned and occupied in a timely manner
- Conduct property walk-throughs to ensure residents are following rules and property is at its best presentation
- Shop competitors as the market changes for pricing and availability
- May be required to work additional evenings and weekends as needed for showings and open house events
- Must remain compliant at all times with Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work well with different personalities in group settings
