ALL broke in. Oil changed and filter cut open all looks good. Then ran again,this time just 10 minutes high rpm. Then that oil fit cut open looks good. Inner valve springs installed.Compression 175-180.excellent engine. Estimated HP 425.I have a video of it if you want to here it run.Oldsmobile 455 de stroked to a 435, This is a custom build, Balanced & blueprint.With a beautiful 425 forged steel crank, turned and polished to a mirror like finish. Engine bored.050 over, with custom DSS forged pistons.torque plate honed finish for moly rings. And line honed. Stock 7” forged rods resized with ARP bolts. This engine is spun balanced with stick flywheel pressure plate and flex plate so you choose! New harmonic balancer. New oil pump (HV) and 7 quart pan. Cloyes true double roller and chain. Cam specs 240@.050 on intake, 251@.050 on exhaust. 112 lob sep. 512/524 lift. Intake center line 109. Nice cam! Compression 9.8:1, dynamic 7.8:1 so premium fuel. Heads (A casting)all rebuilt with all the good parts fierra valves, new 10 deg keepers, retainers, springs and positive seals on all. And beautiful port job! Center exhaust blocked off. roller tip rockers. Edelbrock intake all port matched. Engine will be broke in on test stand. This is a work in progress. More to come. Stay tuned or detonate! Stick setup 400 more , new ram clutch etc. Other engine’s 350,403,455. Head’s etc.
