Millions of dogs are euthanized in shelters each year because of behavior problems that are easily preventable through early socialization and education?
The window of opportunity to socialize your puppy starts as early as 3 weeks and closes forever at just 16 weeks of age?
"Socialization" actually has very little to do with being social?
It's true. Socialization is the foundation that your dog's behavior and training is built upon. Our puppy classes make sure that your puppy has the best start and the best chance at a long and happy life.
Affinity Canine Education is located in Olalla, WA. Our private facility is sanitized before every puppy class to keep everyone safe. Classes focus on introducing puppies to new things in a safe and positive way. We also include plenty of puppy play time, lots of handling practice with humans, confidence building exercises and starting out with a few basic skills. Every class is different!
Our classes are open enrollment so you can come as often as you like! No waiting for the next session of puppy classes to start and missing out on weeks of opportunity!
YOUR FIRST SESSION IS FREE!
After that, each session is $20 or purchase a package of three sessions for $55.
Concerned about taking your puppy out and about before vaccinations are complete? You're not alone. Some veterinarians and breeders are still recommending that puppies stay home until they are done with their vaccinations. However, the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior says:
"The Primary And most important time for puppy socialization is the first three months of life. During this time puppies should be exposed to as many new people, animals, stimuli and environments as can be achieved safely and without causing over stimulation manifested as excessive fear, withdrawal or avoidance behavior. For this
reason, the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior believes that it should be the standard of care for puppies to receive such socialization before they are fully vaccinated."
We believe that our puppies deserve the best we can give them. That starts now, wherever you happen to be in your puppy journey. For more information please email. We hope to hear from you soon!
