This bike is not a looker by any means, its had two low-speed drops and it shows. There's scratching here and there, it could use a new fairing kit (anywhere from $500-$600 from what I've found)...it isn't a bike to showoff to your friends but it is a super reliable (90% highway miles) and well maintained commuter bike that's had all its regular servicing and should last for many more miles.

I've only had it a few months but the original owner used it to commute from Gig Harbor to Seattle for years, rain or shine and apparently dropped it both times while coming to a stop, once in a hailstorm and once when it'd just started to snow. He was a middle aged fellow living with his wife and teenage son in a really nice home in a very nice neighborhood, which is detail I'm throwing in because he seemed super responsible and its something I look for when buying used.

I didn't do much myself...I had an inspection done along with an oil/filter change (it didn't really need it), added a set of quality frame sliders (the original owner so sorely needed), installed a backrest (it hadn't originally come with one) and bought a $130 service manual I'll throw in.

I was preparing to have this bike for the long haul...I'd never even heard of the FJR until coming across this one and it immediately became my all-time favorite. I love this bike...its super smooth, super fast and corners better than any bike I've owned. After a few hundred miles I realized that I just don't have the self discipline to ride it responsibly...found myself speeding a lot, zipping around corners etc so just went ahead and bought a less sporty bike instead. I've found nothing at all wrong with it.

It has anti-lock brakes, heated grips, those protective hand guards, its wired for a charger, the tires are fine, it has about 50-60% brake pad left in both front and rear, maybe 150 miles on it since last oil/filter change.

Please: If this ad is up then the bike is still available. Cash only, feel free to call/text, I'm available for showing most anytime in the afternoon.
