Pixie, Twombleys Red Sentinel, and Other Red Japanese Maples - $240 (Gig Harbor)

Semi-columnar and narrow vase shaped red japanese maples like Pixies and Twombleys Red Sentinels are visually spectacular in the landscape, providing bright contrast to our typical PNW green backgrounds, thriving in full sun, and turning brilliant scarlet in the fall! We carry scores of these maples to select from. Pixie is typically multi-trunked and grows to about 12 ft and 7 feet wide, while Twombleys can get to 16 ft and 15 ft wide over time. Sizes for Pixies and Twombleys start at 10 gallons for $240, and many larger mature specimens in 20 -25 gallons. In addition to these reds, we carry many other red japanese maple varieties of different sizes and forms, such as Elizabeth, Ash's Scarlet Princess, Verna Jean, Shaina, Fireball, as well as weeping laceleaf varieties, and many many more.
In and around our 3000 sq ft greenhouse, we have more than 1000 small to medium sized japanese maples and hundreds of different maple varieties of all colors and forms, starting at $45 for 1-2 yr grafts, and including 3, 5, 7, and 10-15 gallon sizes. Many truckloads of brand new maples have already been delivered this year and many new rare varieties have been added to the collection.
We also have a full selection of many 100s of larger and rare landscape-ready specimen japanese maple trees 15-35 gallon 7-14 ft, 10-12 yrs old, priced individually. We keep more than 3000 maples overall at the farm to select from!
