Picked this one up down in Oregon couple of years ago for a project/toy. This is a 1991, 12 foot Lowe flat bottom Jon boat with an air cooled, two cycle, two cylinder, Cuyuna, 400cc Ultralight engine and transmission. It is on a completely refurbished trailer titled as 1970. Both are for sale as a package. They are both registered and titled in the state of Washington in my name. This came from an estate and the gentleman worked as an engineer at a corporation south of Portland. He designed the motor mount, steering rudders and cage. Greg Harwood of Gregs motorsports did a check over on the electrical, compression check and fuel system. Compression comes in at, 112lbs, 115lbs Fires up after 3 or four pulls cold. Fuel line has a primer bulb just like a boat should. It has a single Mikuni carburetor with a choke lever. Idles nice and low and runs strong at full throttle. Planes out and runs around 22mph top speed. I pulled the exhaust off and repaired a couple of holes and stripped it down with a wire wheel. Repainted with high heat exhaust paint. Wood propeller was sanded down and re-varnished. Comes with a remote fuel tank and clear fuel lines. Metal tool box. Couple of paddles, dock pole and anchor with a line. No leaks. This last year I added a kill with lanyard, fuel cut-off petcock and a velocity stack with to the carburetor. Trailer was completely stripped down with a wire wheel and repainted with Rust-Oleum Professional Cold Galvanizing Compound. Brand new set of LED lights and new wiring. All the wiring connections were soldered and shrink tubed. Has a 4 prong plug. Tongue is a 2 inch ball receiver. New tires and new spare tire, new tire mounting bracket and a new tire cover. New winch strap and hook. Bearings were checked, repacked and new bearing buddies were added. New safety chains. Has a tongue hoist and wheel. Boat tab expires June of 2026, trailer tab expires April 2026. If your looking for a kick in the pants water contraption that would make an excellent choice for Duck hunting, here it is. Gets into those spots that you cant with a normal boat. Never been in salt water. Come and check it out, it has all been methodically gone thru and sorted. All the stuff you see in the photos is included, all the tarps, ratchet strap, ropes and tie downs. It does have one Achilles heel, after using it the plugs should be pulled, otherwise after sitting for some time the two cycle oil left over in the cylinders runs down to the bottom of the cylinder and fowls the plugs. I simply revove them and have an old pair that I screw back in the hole while it is in storage. If you are looking at this add you are most likely just like me, a gear head and two cycle motorsports junkie.
