Hey we have a great deal for anyone looking to get a starter cruiser for the summer to go fishing, island hopping or just a general day cruise.
This Boat has a 351 King Cobra with only 651 original hours.
It had some good use by the 1st owner then it sat for approximately 10 years.
I had purchased it in 2014 and was revitalized in 2015 with the following list (from memory):

  • a new starter alternator,
  • fuel pump and delivery system. (Pictures show a Holly, currently there is a new Edelbrock with only two short fishing trips of use on it. It has been freshly rebuilt within the past month due to sitting a few seasons)
  • All the fluids were recently changed (Motor, Engine coolant, Gear oil, and other lubes)
  • It has a new set of spark plugs,
  • Throttle cable and
  • Gimbal bearing.
  • The fresh water system and exhaust manifolds all were taken out and thoroughly descaled and cleaned.
  • There was an auxiliary 40 gallon fuel tank installed and the 80 gallon main tank was taken out, reconditioned and put back in for a total of 120 gallons of fuel. Thats enough to get you where you need to go anywhere in the Puget Sound.
  • Two new huge 8D batteries put in a couple years ago so you'll never be SOL with power out on the water.

I took out a 6 gallon hot water heater so it has room for it to be replaced. I just never personally needed one, but maybe you want to take a hot shower or have warm water to wash your hands on a cold day of fishing, thats up to you.

Other features added:

  • An 8' Livingston dinghy is attached to the back as a bonus.
  • Has a Garmin EchoChirp 74Sv GPS/Chartplotter with extra maps (Sells currently for $1K with maps and transducer ).
  • Crab pot puller with switches that were routed to an additional marine battery, but can be re-wired to the 8D's.
  • Comes loaded on a 30' galvanized trailer with
  • All new disc brakes, bearings,
  • New tires
  • an electric over hydraulic braking unit that stops on a dime! You'll never feel your towing vehicle brakes working hard or really at all if you crank up the brake controller. It also brakes in reverse which is awesome for launching.
  • Has a great power-winch attached.

The trailer by itself has recently had roughly $2,400 put into it with most of the features mentioned. It can use just a few bucks more to make as good as new.
I dumped about $7K into cleaning this boat and trailer up and all the new items mentioned for my personal use. I also have always had the boat in covered warehouse storage during my ownership until it got moved out of my warehouse storage without my knowledge and then it went backwards in just a few short months.
Since then I've put another $1K or so just to get it ready for someone like you to take it, pick up where I left off and have an awesome time for far less than the cost of the competing boats for sale.
There is a bit of cosmetic work needed to be redone. I never had any upholstery redone and the interior was actually much nicer than current so there was no need for it, but like I wrote previously the boat was moved by my storage landlord who apparently got out of the boat storage business then stored it improperly and outside with out my knowing about it for the better part of a year.
Some bad things happened by some bad people that wanted parts and pieces from it while being exposed not under cover and locked up. It made me sad to say the least.
I've put a bit over $1K back into it like I mentioned earlier to clean up that fallout and now it's ready for a new owner.
It is turn-key, it runs like a champ, it's mobile, it's comfortable but it does need some owner improvements to bring it back to your level of "perfect for you".

I've camped on it with my family and friends, gone fishing, crabbing, shrimping, watching 4th of July fireworks with a front row seat and cruising loving every moment. This boat is solid on the water and is a pure joy to own.
Due to unfortunate event in the family and some other recent losses; my attention is elsewhere and thats why the storage situation wasn't more monitored (otherwise I'd check in on it every month or two) so this boat goes up for sale.

Photos attached show some of what I mention above. The boat in storage previous to removing the pinstripping and others are from my last use in 2016. I was always improving the vessel until I got distracted by other things in life. Unfortunately my lesson learned to to always stop in and visit things you care about more often.

Call me to set an appointment to view and/or have more details. It's a great boat and for a little money it'll be the best value on the water for 2018. Oh and I dropped the asking price and already licensed boat and trailer for 2018 for you. Lets make a deal!!!
