Handmade Savage Opress Halloween Costume - $200 (Lakebay)

This is a handmade costume of Savage Opress from “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” cartoons. It was patterned after the Sideshow Collectibles model (pictures included). The suit material is faux leather, the lines in the costume are made of EVA half dowels, glued and sewn in, textured and painted. An under-the-suit harness was made with neodymium magnets to hold the pauldrons (shoulder armor) in place, along with a strip of Velcro to keep it secure while wearing. The bicep armor pieces are made of EVA foam, heat-shaped and painted with acrylic paint (iridescent graphite color). The gauntlets (forearm armor) were sculpted in clay, molds made of cement, and cast in liquid latex and painted in acrylic. I’ve only worn this costume at three separate Halloween events.
The zipper is broken and no longer works, so some attachments would need to be created to keep the costume closed while wearing it. There are a few wear and tear marks here and there. Not professionally made but I did the best I could. It’s certainly a lot better than the store-bought knock-offs. I’m 5’9”, about 195 lbs and the costume fits me perfectly, so if your dimensions are the same, you should have no problem wearing it. It’s very warm to wear and be active in, but perfect in colder climates. The boots are mens’ size 9.5”, adorned with heat-shaped EVA foam covers. I made two belts out of four-way-stretch faux leather and EVA foam. The pictures only show the one belt.
I still have the cement molds I made to create the horns and gauntlets with. I had cast mine in latex rubber and painted them with acrylic paints, using Pros-Aide to secure the horns on my shaved head and blended them in with makeup. Casting the horns can be a very involved, tedious process, but you’re welcome to have the molds as well. I can explain the process I used to create the horns and gauntlets, if you’re interested.
Purchase will include the suit, underharness, pauldrons, biceps armor, gauntlets, belts and adorned pair of boots, and the cement molds used to create the gauntlets and horns.
Not included are the horns, contact lenses and lightsabers.
