for sale is my REID surface grinder . the description is as follows it can use up to an 8" diameter wheel by 3/4 wide , it has an 18" x 6" chuck , the table is 54" long , the depth of the machine is 44" , the height is 72" , it can grind a part up to 10.5" tall , the spindle is a
one horsepower motor , it will run on 220/440 3- phase , it has a 1 shot oil system .it does not have flood coolant but it can be added or you can use a vacuum as a dust recovery system or a spray mister .this machine looks to be in great shape very low hours . the manual says it heavier then most machines of this size and it is of course it is American made . I used it for grinding and modifying lathe inserts worked great for that , now i have a tool and cutter grinder as well as a hydraulic surface grinder .i bought a chuck and then then made clamps to secure it to the table and now it needs to find a new home !! isolators and manual included . call show contact info or leave a message and i will call you back .
