To empower Allixo’s Network Security Operations Center team by leading network troubleshooting efforts, owning Allixo’s network monitoring tool stack, along with assisting the Service Desk projects team in engineering and implementing new networks or network equipment.

Maintain Allixo’s network monitoring tools and improve recommend monitoring systems.

These are the absolute most important numbers for your role - your week to week success will depend on meeting these metrics on a regular basis, as noted below. You will have real time visibility into each of them.
1) Customer (User) Satisfaction Scoring: Each time you close a support ticket, the end user will be given an opportunity to rate their satisfaction with your service. We are reasonable in our handling of this and realize no one can control every user's perception of your work.
2) Kill Rate (Tickets): Your ability to stay on top of your workload or ask for help when there is more than you can handle. Your 'kill rate' is your ability to close tickets as quickly as they come in, measured on a weekly basis.
3) Self-Management Score: This score is computed by measuring your ability to be digitally organized. Keeping tickets and time updated in near realtime as possible. Time entered properly, making sure requests are not 'orphaned' (ignored), etc.

Mastery in networking. Be able to independently manage, troubleshoot, and implement solutions using the following technologies:
Vendor specific security services
Static and dynamic routing protocols
SSID Management and Encryption
Radio channel/signal strength/band settings
Security features: MAC filtering, loop prevention, ETC
Experience with equipment from Cisco, Meraki, Sonicwall, Aruba (HP), or Ubiquiti a plus.
Experience with Wireshark, wireless analyzers, and similar tools a must.
Proficiency in managing Windows servers:
File System Security and Management
Proficiency with Hypervisors, including Hyper-V
Proficiency with Office 365 and Google Apps
Proficiency in creating and updating technical documentation
Aptitude with IT ticketing systems (experience with ConnectWise is a plus)
Aptitude with new technologies as they are presented
Must be able to lift 50lbs and sit/stand for long periods of time. This job requires the applicant be able to work in an office environment where fine motor skills and attention to detail are needed
Strong proficiency in communication skills, including organizing and efficiently conducting phone, remote, and in-person meetings; strong listening and clarity skills; strong and clear correspondence style; tracking and clearly reporting progress; raising and addressing issues appropriately

Role involves having access to sensitive internal systems and client systems. Must possess ability to handle clients and their sensitive information with diplomacy and a high degree of confidentiality. Extensive reference follow-up will be conducted. Allixo will require the employee to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
