Elderly couple needs help with housekeeping and general organizing skills around the house for 2 1/2 hours each day , 5 days
My husband has dementia and can be very forgetful. He never cleans up after himself so he leaves a lot of clutter around. But typically, he just goes from his bedroom on the top floor, master suite, to his recliner that’s on the main floor, and he watches the news from the time he gets up about 6 or 7 AM until the time he goes to bed about 12 hours later.

We are retired , but I have a 17 year old autistic son living with me, in our separate apartment on the basement floor.

We have a very quiet lifestyle and we are in a gated community
We are not on a bus line. The nearest bus stop is 20 minutes away as we are way out in the country. So you will need your own transportation.
The school bus does stop at the entrance to our neighborhood.

I will need references from work as well as landlord We are looking for long term ie. 6mo or better.

We already have two dogs. We have a 5year-old pug and a 13 year-old boxer.
We will take care of all utilities, Internet, Wi-Fi, heat, air conditioning, garbage, etc.
There is a fully refundable $300 deposit When you move out and leave the place as clean as you found it.
We are not offering any place for you to store your stuff. If you have some furniture, you want to bring you can use the bonus room. But no boxes No garage storage.
We’ve had a lot of very ,very , very nice people living with us over the years. A lot of people get very comfortable here telling me it feels more like family, but tend to just sort of come and go as they please and forget about the housework part.
We need somebody reliable. We need you to take this job seriously.
first thing to remember is that this is a business relationship and since we are in our 80’s it is essential that we have constant And reliable help.
If this arrangement fails to work for you, you only need to give a ONE WEEK notice. If you’re not happy here, we certainly won’t try to make you stay.
