Both of these will work with a Nikon AF-S 300mm f4 PF. You will need to check Nikon to see what lenses these will work on.
Chances are good that aftermarket Nikon F mount lenses will accept these, it all depends on how far the back element is on the mount.

I kept the 1.4x on the 300pf to give 420mm @f5.6, the 2x on the 300pf provided 600mm @f8 - but focusing in low light was pushing it.
(Ideally the 1.7x was perfect, but for some reason did not work with the 300pf.)
Will sell the 300mm/F4 AF-S pf - $1000
All in excellent condition never dropped or abused.
