At my age,65, Its is hard to find a band where there is a commitment to getting better always. Seems most people just play in 3 different bands and they are all mediocre with people just going through the motions saying, "Good enough". That is not me.
I desire to play with people who look for reasons to play not reasons not to play. For example, "There's just too much traffic", I don't wanna drive on New years eve", "I'm gonna be gone for 3 months in Arizona". These are the excuses I hear from folks my age.
I look to be 100% dedicated to the band cause.
So, if your band is looking for a Bass player or a decent Rhythm guitarist who can sing leads and is even better at harmonies then give me a shout. Just know that I wont stick around if I see flakiness or an unwillingness to practice or find excuses to turn down gigs.
Classic Rock, Good upbeat country, and some originals is what is in my fingers.
