Serviced performed: New JJ tube set, (4) T-6L6 GC-JJ, (2) T-12AT7-JJ, (4) T- 12AX7-S-JJ, cleaned pots, replaced input jacks, replaced screen resisters, added flyback diodes, added snubber cap to psu choke, added bias safety bypass resistor, rewired reverb drive (12A17) tube socket (rewired per original AB763 diagram), repaired and rewired speaker connections, replaced speaker cable 1/4 L plug connector, adjusted bias and tested operation.
As he said, ''it is now wired correctly.'' Stated the reverb tanks on RIs are wired incorrectly.
Just too much amp for me. I never gig played at home. I bought used 15 plus years ago and Ive never had the volume past 4. This is damn loud.
Have original foot switch which needs new input jack soldered on (I forgot to take it with to the shop) and Tubes that came with think they are the original tubes. Didn't have tubes tested just replaced with new tubes.
