Hamer USA Special P90 - $1,300 (Everett Wa)

Hi! Thank you for checking out our USA Hamer Special P90! Made with a single slab of Honduran mahogany, this really is a throw back to the great no frills rock n roll machines from the 50s, but with a slimmer more modern neck, high quality Schaller bridge and tailpiece, custom made Seymour Duncan P90s and attention to detail and quality unsurpassed and second to none. Guitar plays great with a huge variety of tones from soft to scream and mellow to raw- just with the volume controls. Low fast action, great sustain and sound... a great example of a boutique handmade guitar made in the USA... not to mention Hamer is no longer with us, and the prices of them is steadily on the rise. This example has no repairs, no cracks, is all 100% stock with no stories. Tone knob has a defect in the knob only, and there are light pick swirls and light scratches from regular playwear and case. An hour and a good buff will take it back to mint. There is no dents or fretwear, tho they could use a polish. I can confidently call this excellent condition. I am making an educated guess as to the year- Hamer had a goofy system but it starts with 3 and the tuners are marked Hamer, not Schaller- which they were marked in 1996 -1997 and earlier. (i dont know for sure. I think its a 1993 or a 2003)
