1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Original finish with no headstock or neck breaks.
This guitar plays great. It has a straight neck, properly working truss rod, and good action and playability.
Original pots and pickups dating to 1977-1978.
Original tuners.
Obviously missing pickup covers.
Some cosmetic wear to the body and neck as seen in the photos. No abuse, just player wear. Note the wear the the binding along the edges. It has an ABR-1 style bridge that looks to be from 5-10 years later than the guitar (Gibson ABR-1 with no foundary mark). The bridge works as it should, but some of the saddles are cut a little low. The bridge pickup ring is fully functional, but it did develop a crack on one side. This was reglued with super-glue. The neck-side strap button was moved about 1/4 inch and has a new screw.
It comes housed in the original case. The case has two latches that are missing. One latch closes and stays shut, but hangs loose when opened. The other latch works fine. I will take it securely shut during shipment. But you may want to fix those latches if you are using it for gigs or traveling with it—or use a different case.
I am careful to fully disclose anything of note on my guitars and point them out to you so there are no surprises. What I have listed here tries to draw everything noteworthy to your attention.
But please ask questions and I will get you more photos or info as soon as I reasonably can.
