I bought this because I liked the unconventional styling and the figure in the quilted maple on the back is gorgeous. But I have too many other projects and am not likely to ever have this instrument set up.

With its blonde finish and postmodern scroll design, this violin really gets your attention. The label reads Jay Durfee, Sandy, UT 2011. I haven't been able to find any information on the builder.

Needs a bridge and strings. Chinrest and tailpiece are included. There are a couple more pegs in the case, but they don't match the ones that are installed.

Includes a nice Protec MAX hard foam case (about $60 on Amazon).

Selling for $150.
