These Pre Amps still sound great and I can prove it
one has a noisy #3 pre amp
I also have the PC SIIG 1394 firewire adapter that works good for these units
Ran these at 24bit 48htz 12 channels with fire wire daisy chain
can be ran 24-48 with 16 channels if you optical daisy chain with Firewire to computer
