You will not find another like this.
A slightly modified 1980 Enfield India. 1,500 kilometers, which is about 935 miles. Never been titled, and will likely have to go through the 3 year process to get title. I may do that myself if I end up having the time to do it. I know its history. This is not a "Royal Enfield", as the Indian company did not have the right to use "Royal" at that time.
It has not been repainted, and so it shows a few minor nicks from 39 years. It has the original tank, with the proper Enfield tin on the sides. I have not seen another that is this original and clean.
The original Villiers carburetor died, and has been replaced with a 28mm Mikuni and K&N clamp-on filter. I have the original air box and filter. The Battery mount has been removed, and the battery is now in the left box. I have the original battery mount. This bike has never had complete turn signals installed as far as I know. I planned to add them, as the wiring is there, and a flasher unit, but only put on rear blinkers, and may remove them yet. I do have matching blinkers for the front if you want them.
As you can see from the pictures, it has original correct seat, shocks, fenders, speedometer, even tool wrap. It even has the original tires, though I did have to change an inner tube. I have some extra parts. If originality is not important to you, then this bike would not be your best choice.
Yes, it does run.
