Fast-paced humanitarian immigration law firm seeks bilingual paralegal with one or more years of paralegal experience to assist in preparing client application packets. Fluency in both Spanish and English (reading, writing, speaking) is required. This position will work with clients to take detailed declarations, complete forms, and gather supporting evidence. The paralegal will also be responsible for compiling submissions and drafting cover letters. Common case types include asylum, U visas, T visas, DACA, family petitions, waivers, and cancellation of removal.
Requirements:
Fully bilingual in Spanish and English - reading, writing, and speaking
At least one year of paralegal experience at a law firm
At least one year of customer service experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Familiarity with case management software
Preferred Candidates will have:
Prior immigration experience
Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft products
A demonstrated ability to learn/troubleshoot unfamiliar technologies independently

Our office is located in Mill Creek, Washington. We are open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00-5:00, and require a full-time, in-person, position (40 hours/week) for this role. We offer a flexible, family-friendly work environment that emphasizes teamwork on behalf of our clients. This full-time position is eligible for benefits, including medical and dental insurance as well as accrued paid time off and paid sick leave. Salary will be commensurate with experience, but not less than $28.00 / hour to start for applicants meeting all requirements. We are looking to hire someone to start immediately.
