Working in the warehouse at Rich's for the Home requires a responsible person; a self-starter with good work ethic and problem-solving abilities. A solid mechanical aptitude is a must as the bulk of the position will be in the assembly area. Tools are provided by Rich’s for the Home but a candidate is welcome to use his/her own if desired. We are interested in someone who pays attention to detail and is willing to contribute ideas for better efficiency and organization of the warehouse. Team work is the foundation of Rich's warehouse and this individual must be able to work well in a team setting. Leaders are welcome in this position and our ideal candidate is someone who seeks on-the-job training, desires a career path, and has a long-term future in mind.
Job responsibilities include:
-Working with the overall customer experience in mind
-Assembling customer and stock merchandise
-Loading delivery trucks for the next day
-Stacking received merchandise in the warehouse for storage
-Assisting in keeping warehouse orderly and clean
-2-3 years of experience
-High school diploma/GED
-Must be able to safely lift 50+ LBS
-Must pass background test
