Allice Chalmers fork lift - $500 (Monroe)

Not sure if it ran out of gas or what. Once I got it home I added gas tried starter fluid and had no luck restarting. Came close, found loose connections and corrected. Came closer but never could get it running again. I don't understand it because the man I got it from had it running and drove it up my ramps. At the top tires started spinning and while getting blocks to block tires it died. Would not restart. It has had the carb replaced before I got it with a cheaper version and that may be the problem. 500 as is you load we should be able to use a cum-a-long to lift forks for loading or maybe use a charger and crank it while holding lever. I know the hydraulics work and forks shift side to side on this model. 4 cylinder Allice motor 1969 model
