Hello there,
I have been a mobile horse trainer all over WA state since 2007. During that time I have managed a breeding farm for andalusians and friesian sporthorses, Paints and Quarter horses, worked for several boarding/training and lesson barns as well as a mustang rehab center for wild and abused mustangs.
I have worked with foals, youngsters, breeding stallions, problem horses and rescues. Ive successfully started horses under saddle and turned even more into bombproof trail horses or prepared them for their show career. I believe that every horse is an individual with unique personalities, life experiences, learning abilties, strengths and weaknesses and needs therefore a specific trainings plan developed for the animals unique needs. I am a true believer in preparing a horse step by step, with a firm but also gentle hand, a clear routine, common sense and enough knowledge on how to properly condition their bodies without causing longterm damage. Safety and the horses physical and psychological wellbeing have always been my first priority.
My motto is "Direction is better than correction" meaning that if a horse is taught everything step by step, without pushing for more than he/she is ready for, they will know what to expect and there wont be any bad surprises later down the line.
My knowledge is based on owning and training equines for 33 years. I use a mix of classical teachings, natural horsemanship as well as clicker training in my program. I'm knowledgable, reliable, responsible, easy going and someone that listens to the owners worries or requests and takes them into consideration.
I can travel to your place (anywhere in Snohomish County or north of King County) or take your horse in for training at our facility. Either way I always involve my clients in my training so they will be able to bond and grow with their animals together.
I'm more than happy to provide references on request as well.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
