Full Time - Production Cook – Pastry Focus (Hot Kitchen Experience Required)

Chef Dane Catering is a full-service catering company creating thoughtful, seasonal food for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations throughout the Seattle area. We’re seeking a Full Time Production Cook with strong pastry experience and the ability to assist with hot production in a high-volume catering kitchen.
This role is ideal for an experienced pastry professional who enjoys variety, consistency, and working within a well-organized catering operation.
What You’ll Do
Execute daily pastry production including baked goods, desserts, fillings, custards, doughs, and components
Assist with hot item production such as roasting, braising, sauces, grains, and vegetable preparations
Support prep and production for catering events, including occasional event-related work off-site
Follow Chef Dane recipes and production standards with consistency and care
Support large-scale catering prep, portioning, and packing
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
Label, date, and store product according to health department standards
Communicate clearly with kitchen leadership regarding prep lists, timelines, and priorities
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years experience in a professional kitchen
Pastry experience required
Comfortable assisting with hot production
Must be available to work weekends
Occasional field work on-site to support events in the greater Seattle area
Spanish - speaking a plus
Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends to support events
Catering experience is a plus
Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to follow recipes precisely in a high-volume environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
