1986 Nonsuch 36' for sale by owner. Located at Cap Sante Marina, Anacortes, Wa. Comes with an additional unused new main sail.
Designed to be singlehanded easily, this lovely stout sailboat is a dream to cruise the San Juan Islands and beyond.
Engine is a diesel Weaterbeke 52hp. Stainless Fuel tank holds 47 gallons of diesel fuel.
It is immediately noticeable with its cat rigged design, its wishbone boom, jet black stack pack, and massive mainsail. This design allows the cabin to be wide open and spacious with 6'6" of headroom. During its voyages it has had all new plumbing, electrical, holding tank, and toilet installed. Not an inch of this boat hasn't been serviced at some point. It was last out of the water 2 years ago to have the hull cleaned, painted, and new zincs added.
The design has a PHRF racing average handicap of 156 and a hull speed of 7.78 kn (14.41 km/h). A very nice cruising speed.
