The Boat Loop® is an extendable fiberglass docking pole and hook used for easily catching cleats or pilings. Works great when docking solo. This one is the most expensive model (currently $175 on Amazon) because it is the longest length available (8’ with extension to 9.3’) and comes with 2 different sized loops that are easily exchangeable depending on the situation (eg., whether looping over a cleat or piling).

This pole was only used a few times, as I sold my sailboat shortly after buying it. But it worked extremely well when coming into a dock in a stiff wind blowing the boat away from the dock.
