Locally built by "Muffler City" located on Hwy 99 in Edmonds. They made (and raced?) several boat models (flat-bottom drag/race, flat-bottom & 28 Mustangs) from their facilities in the late sixties into the early seventies...?

Lots of fun as a ski (or just go fast & skip across the water) boat. Very simple, economical set-up with a Chevrolet 350 cubic inch, Velvet Drive transmission via a Barr Marine bell housing and then the v-drive box. All boat F-R motion & speed controlled by a single handle Morse lever (no foot throttle to have to try and hold down steady!). Left hand drive like a real classic boat should be...
NICSON hardware/plates for mounting SB Chev & thru-hull water-line exhaust. Slot holes you see in the transom are the exhaust ports - very unique cast aluminum housings bolt in the slots with straight back water-cooled exhaust logs gives it the right rumble at idle and a good roar cruising.
BORG WARNER 1:1 "Velvet Drive" (Forward, Neutral & Reverse) bolts directly to back of the SB Chev using the Barr Marine bell housing.
CRUSADER MARINE 1.23 v-dr iv e box that we were told had been gone through - turns free & easy.
MORSE single handle throttle with "F", "N", "R" direction control and pop-out button for Nuetral throttle rev.
Full transom width "ride plate" that was originally manually adjustable (some hardware for that "adjustable" set-up but it was solid mounted when we got it).
New rigid mounted aluminum fuel tanks
Some other new parts included and some re-done (Re-finished Mahogany dash, fuel senders, prop, skags, etc).
1969 SHORELINE single axle trailer in good shape w/15" - 5 on 4 1/2" wheels(Ford/Mopar pattern) with bearing buddies.
Boat and trailer are in Lynnwood, Wa.
