Hello. Did you recently purchase a pair vintage elephant plant stands from a couple near Snohomish looking to downsize? If so, this message is for you.
The couple in question are my parents, and while they have been very good about checking with my sibling and I on what items of theirs we want as they downsize, the elephants missed the boat. My mom mentioned that they had been sold on Easter morning, and that was the first I had heard on the topic. She had remembered to ask my sibling, but forgot to ask me.
I get this is a long shot, but if they aren't what you are looking for, the wrong size and color, etc I would really like to buy them back. I'm happy to negotiate price due to inconvenience on your end.
I know that they are just objects, but they are things that I liked, that I helped care for, that I knew I would be able to use, and that I have fond memories of that are tied to multiple "good" things- plants, clean houses and the grandparents who I loved. They had a story and history and they are things that to look at them make you happy. They have spent nearly 80 years with my family, and it saddens me that I didn't get to see them on.
If you are willing to consider selling them back to me: please contact me by either phone or email. Happy to come to Seattle and do all the labor of moving them. Number is 843-four three three-4744.
