From the 1930s in the village of Viss outside of the city of Sarouk in the ancient weaving district of Arak in Persia comes this rare Sarouk Viss. A large blue hexagon with hooked pendants dominates the field which is divided into a large center section and two smaller end sections of hooked whole and half diamonds. 4' 11" x 6' 10". All natural dyes, amazing colors, abrash, wool on a cotton foundation. Excellent condition. Full original pile, selvages and secured ends. Strong and durable rug. Clean.
