Acer Aspire Revo netbook. This is a small silent computer running Windows XP (Can run Windows 7 or 10, but it will run slower) that can sit on a shelf or in a closet and act as a Backup server or just a place to store all your pictures and MP3's. You can surf the web with it, watch YouTube and stream movies (NVIDIA onboard), but I wouldn't try playing a game on it other than educational games for kids. It's not a gaming machine. I just upgraded the hard drive to a 240 gig Sandisk SSD which really sped it up, but the real storage is the external 2 Terabyte hard drive hooked up to it. This little guy has an eSATA port, which means external drives are just as fast as internal ones. No slow down due to USB conversion. Once upon a time I had 4 external drives hooked up and it worked great. It has 4 gb of RAM (It's maximum) runs on a dual core Atom processor (low power usage). It has a brand new super-fast 802.11ac 2.4/5ghz WiFi adapter plugged into it but it also has Ethernet if you would rather plug it into your network. There is a media card reader (SD, XD cards and more). It has VGA and HDMI output, so you could hook it up to your TV if you want. I just put a fresh install of Windows on the new SSD hard drive, and you will receive all the discs (including Windows) that came with it. The external drive has both eSATA and USB3 ports. So you can use it on a computer that does not have eSATA. I will include both cables. Makes a great portable drive to take with you, if you need to take files to work or something. It has been a great little storage server and print server for us for a few years now, but I'm ready to move my storage to the Cloud. So this little computer needs a new home. Much more capable than a Raspberry.
