For sale is a never used vintage 8'6" Split Bamboo Fly Rod. Rod comes in 3 pieces with a 4th piece as an extra tip. This rod belonged to my Grandfather and he had it built in the 1950's. It was never used but he sure liked to take it out and look at it. It has always been stored in a sleave to protect it from light and wear. Fly Rod is similar to Heddon Vintage 8'6" Rods and/or Martin James freshwater split bamboo rods. Eyes and reel seats are in excellent condition with a great deal of care in the making of this great fly rod. Needs to get out on the water and catch some more trout.
