Simba is a wonderful 3-year-old, 80-lb love bug who is ready to find his forever family. He is fully vaccinated, recently neutered, and truly great with animals of all sizes—dogs, cats, and even chickens. Big or small, Simba fits right in.
He’s an easygoing guy who only needs about 45 minutes of exercise a day to be happy and content. After that, he’s perfectly happy relaxing with his people. He would make an excellent addition to a family or individual looking for a loyal, steady companion.
Simba does best with neutered males and may be unsure around fully intact males, likely due to being fixed later in life. With that small consideration, he’s an incredibly loving, well-rounded dog.
A little about how Simba came to me: I was his pet sitter, and his original owners recently moved to Canada. Unfortunately, due to laws and restrictions, Simba couldn’t go with them. With no other options, I took him in so he wouldn’t end up in a shelter.
I run a dog-sitting business and can only take four dogs at a time. As much as we all love Simba, I need to find him a permanent home soon so I can continue supporting myself. This decision comes from love and wanting the absolute best for him.
Simba deserves a stable, forever home where he can be part of the family—and he will give so much love in return.

Simba comes from big, solid parents. His mom is about 95 lbs and his dad is around 80 lbs. His grandfather had a small amount of Mastiff in him (about 10%), which gives Simba a sturdy build without being overly large. He’s strong, well-proportioned, and built like a tank—but still very sweet and easygoing.
