Property Management Company is seeking an energetic, excited, outgoing professional for an On-site full-time Apartment Manager Position for a property in Des Moines, WA.

Our Manager Professional will be responsible for the rental of apartments, on and off-site marketing, maintain courteous communication with residents and in the processing of rental applications. The Manager will also ensure that the property is maintained at all times in good physical condition and all company policies are implemented consistently.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Meet, greet potential residents and show them rent ready units
* Complete and maintain traffic guest cards
* Process rental applications and lease documents
* Update marketing ads online and help with property marketing activities
* Performs market research and generates market comparison reports
* Walk vacant units to verify they are rent ready, coordinate maintenance for turning apartments and work orders
* Prepare correspondences and notices as assigned by Asset Manager
* Collect/process rent payments and record resident Maintenance Service Requests
* Clean/maintain Office and facilities

Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
* Minimum of 1 year residential apartment experience preferred, but not required
* Comprehension of Federal Fair Housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions

Other requirements:
* Must maintain a neat and professional appearance
* Must be very punctual and have great attendance
* Ability to work weekends and non-traditional holidays
* Must have valid Driver's License/reliable transportation and able to travel if required
* Must be available to work at sister-communities if needed
* Ability to use a computer and has working knowledge of email, Word, Excel, and Appfolio (or other on-site accounting software)
* Professional verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Must be a team player
* Ability to multi-task
* Ability to analyze and solve problems
* Ability to deal with/handle potential confrontational situations
* Ability to close a sale
* Ability to set and meet goals
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
