Senior and disability advocacy group is looking for an administrative assistant. We work closely with the State judicial system, Federal and State agencies, health care providers, family members and other community resources to provide guardianship services for incapacitated adults. Because of the nature of this practice, the applicant must have a caring personality, a good attitude and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Discretion is a must and a background check is required. This is a fast-paced office and candidate should be well organized, have good communication skills and able to multi-task.
Position requires individual who is a self-starter, detail oriented and demonstrates ability to maintain documentation and time entry standards.
Applicant needs to be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. Job duties include scanning documents and accurately maintaining online filing system, maintaining professionalism in day to day correspondence and telephone support, accurately preparing and filing documents with the Court; and supporting our staff and office work flow with other projects as needed. Position requires ability to complete basic accounting tasks. This is a part time position with hours to include M-Th, 9-3. Our office is in Federal Way, WA. Please send resume and cover letter.
