A good investment given the way grocery prices going. The above are proven varieties for our Seattle Maritime climate. Many varieties sold by for example Home Depo are good in ares south and east of the mountains but do not produce in our NW maritime climate.
All the above are planted in the ground and not in pots so they would need to be dug up which I would do for you. From my experience these plants will grow faster after transplanting then from pots where the roots are all balled up because of being constricted. You would need to just bring a small plastic bag for the root ball to transport to your location. Some would fit in a car trunk but most would require a SUV with the seats down or a small pickup.
