Pressure Foot Descriptions:
A: All-Purpose/Standard Presser Foot - Function: This is your general-use presser foot, which is designed for a variety of tasks including standard forward stitching and zigzag stitches. Best for: Everyday sewing on most fabrics, including garment construction and basic mending.
B: Utility/Applique Presser Foot - Function: The "B" foot has a wider opening and a groove on the underside, which helps thicker stitches like decorative or satin stitches feed smoothly without getting caught. Best for: Applique, decorative sewing, and creating heirloom stitches. A transparent version is also available for improved visibility.
C: Buttonhole Presser Foot - Function: This foot is specifically for creating buttonholes. The foot holds the button, allowing the machine to automatically measure and sew a buttonhole to the exact size. Best for: Sewing consistent, well-formed buttonholes on garments and home décor.
D: Blind Hem Presser Foot - Function: The "D" foot features a metal or plastic guide to help maintain an even, straight line for blind hemming. This foot is often used in conjunction with the machine's blind hem stitch to create a nearly invisible hem. Best for: Hemming garments and other items where you want the stitching to be discreet.
E: Zipper Presser Foot - Function: The narrow design of the "E" foot allows you to stitch very close to the zipper teeth, on either the left or right side. This ensures that zippers are installed neatly. Best for: Installing standard zippers. Some Husqvarna models may include a specialized invisible zipper foot as well.
F: Raised Seam/Piping Presser Foot - Function: The "F" foot, also known as the piping foot, has a single or double groove on its underside. This helps guide corded piping, allowing you to sew it onto fabric or create your own without it slipping. Best for: Attaching piping, cord, or creating a raised seam for decorative effect.
Accessories and Maintenance Tools:
