We have had it for over 25 years. During those decades, the springs have gotten soft in one spot and the upholstery has gotten faded and brittle and worn out and has torn all the way up the length of the couch. We have hung on to it with a blanket thrown over it because we have always planned to restore it, but now we are moving and downsizing.
You could throw a blanket over it and use it as-is, but this is probably not the couch for you if you are just looking for a cheap way to furnish your apartment. There are newer options in better shape available. I think that the next owner of this couch will be someone who loves the 1950s and has a vision for what this sofa was and could be once again.
It's approximately 90 inches long, 38 inches deep, and 28 inches tall in couch mode; folded flat, the sleeping area is around 76 by 37 inches.
