Founded in 1983, Portland Container has been providing containerized cargo services to the Pacific Northwest for more than 30 years. We have yards in Portland, Tacoma, Seattle, Kelso, Longview, Chehalis, and Yakima. Dispatching more than 100 trucks every day. We provide service to Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. We have the perfect mix of small enough to care and large enough to invest in the future.
We are currently looking for drivers to join our LEASE PROGRAM (must have your own truck) that are experienced, customer focused and looking for long term employment. Come drive for Portland Container, and you too may never desire to change employers again.
Opportunities include day shift for both regional (home most nights) and local routes. We are equipped with state of the industry technology such as electronic logs and dispatch, GPS tracking, and more.
Requirements
• A desire to deliver the most professional service possible
• One year Class A CDL Tractor Trailer Experience
• TWIC Card
• Heavy Haul Experience
Preferred
• Port Drayage Experience
• Hazmat Endorsement, or willingness to get it
