King Marine Canvas is actively seeking professional canvas and upholstery technicians. We're an established custom canvas and upholstery shop of 40+ years with a large customer base in the Greater Seattle / Puget Sound area. We are family owned and family oriented. We're looking for an individual who is committed to quality, dependability, and working within a team. Professional experience is preferred.

Shop Location: Interbay / Magnolia

Job Type / Schedule:
Full-Time position. Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts with overtime opportunities available.

Salary / Benefits:
Pay based upon experience and performance. Medical, Vacation and Bonus opportunities available.

*** $500 Retention Bonus after 90 days ***

Qualifications / Responsibilities:
• Must be able to manufacture raw goods into finished products, ready for install or delivery
• Attention to detail and precise measurements are required
• Ability to use hand tools as well as operate power tools
• Ability to organize workflow, prioritize orders, meet customer needs and production deadlines
• Support other team members in the field and at our shop
• Professional Canvas or Upholstery experience is preferred
• Professional experience with installation and on-site delivery is a plus
• Experience with building furniture or reupholstery is a plus
• Professional experience with creating custom patterns or templates is a plus
• Experience with garment alterations or tailoring is a plus

Hiring Process:
Openings available immediately for in-person interviews. Performance trial may be required for individuals with limited professional experience.
