This is a vintage antique heavy duty electrical motor from an industrial sewing machine with clutch mechanism and pulley. It does not work because one of the wires is broken off. I don't know anything else about it. It would need to be cleaned and repaired or rebuilt etc.
I'm sure it could be used for many things if it were made operational, or perhaps could be used for some kind of art or design.
Seems like it could have some life left to it in the right hands.
