Used in graduate school back in 2016, and it's been lightly used for web browsing, typing, and playing very simple Steam games since, and it still runs fine. I have finally upgraded to a newer budget laptop so I have no use for this one.
I did replace the battery about half a year ago as the original one finally started losing ability to hold charge, and now it holds charge fine and can run without being plugged in for a multiple hours now as it did back then. Of course, the battery life isn't as great as more modern laptops, but this should be fine for the basics.
I wiped the hard drive, and also cleaned/wiped down the screen and keyboard with proper cleaning solution, and cleaned up the outside of the case, but there might be some dust internally that might need to be cleaned out. I haven't noticed any problems with overheating, but I've had the laptop for 10 years so it's probably gathered at least some dust over that time. At this point, I'm just too lazy to open it up and use a duster to clean it up.
Here's some basic specs on it: https://laptopmedia.com/laptop-specs/dell-latitude-e5470-30/gaming-performance/
To clarify on some of the specs: it uses DDR4 RAM, and has Windows 10 as the OS.
