Hi! I’m looking for a room to rent in the Seattle area (or nearby), ideally in a calm and respectful home. I’m open to a short-term situation at first, with the possibility of longer-term if it feels like a good fit for everyone.
A little about me:
I’m 39 years old and work full-time as a teacher remotely. My schedule is consistent, and I spend most weekdays working quietly from home. Outside of work, I’m outdoorsy and active, and I love spending time walking, hiking, and exploring. I also enjoy reading, writing, and generally living a low-key, grounded lifestyle.
It would be just me and my 11-year-old lab mix. She’s a sweet senior dog—mellow, gentle, and quiet. She is very well behaved in shared living situations. In my current roommate setup, she stays in my room and does great with that, and I’m happy to continue that arrangement. She doesn’t bark, isn’t destructive, and mostly just sleeps, follows me around, and enjoys short walks.
I’m a considerate roommate: clean, responsible, and respectful of shared space. I don’t smoke, I drink very rarely, and I’m not into parties or having a lot of people over. I’m looking for a peaceful home environment with similar vibes.
If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect and learn more about your space!
