Want to help youth ages (18-24) transition out of homelessness and toward independence? Our Rapid Rehousing Program is looking for friendly landlords and those with extra space who are willing and excited to rent to our youth. Our program offers youth exiting homelessness three months of free rent, and provides persistent rental assistance for two years as they gain independence and progressively pay for more and more of the share of rent.
The goal of the program is to foster support, care and community with our youth as they save money and find stability. Many of our youth are interested in a variety of arrangements, from mother-in=law units, studios, roommate situations one bedrooms and other options. During the time that our young people are enrolled in the program, we provide weekly case-management, job support, mental health supports and more. All clients join our program through the King County Coordinated Entry System. We conduct background checks, support dispute mitigation and provide wrap around supports for our independent young people.
If you have units or available space, please send email to the above address and lets talk about how to support young people!
