Experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this position (required for employment consideration)
  • BS or MS in Bioengineering, Chemistry, Biology or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year laboratory and data analysis experience.
  • Ability to take ownership of QC goals and projects with excellent attention to detail and the ability to be flexible and to multi-task.
  • Ability to interact constructively with co-workers, with excellent verbal & written communication skills a must.
  • Experience using MS Word and Excel.
Additional preferred experience and knowledge (not required for employment consideration)
  • Experience running ELISAs preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot assays preferred.
What are the job responsibilites? Primary duties will include the following:
  • Routine testing including in-process, release and stability testing of rapid and ELISA kits.
  • Perform shipment checks, label inspections, and bacterial contamination testing.
  • Writing and/or revising QC test methods or manufacturing protocols to ensure compliance with FDA and USDA regulations.
  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot process deviations as they occur in manufacturing and QC.
