This is a stunning and beautifully decorated 3-bedroom 3-level 1902 craftsman house in a great neighborhood. The house is recently remodeled and retains all of the charm of an old craftsman, but feels fresh and clean.
Location is everything! Walking distance to Amazon, South Lake Union, even Downtown. Multiple bus lines nearby, and a short 10 minute walk to Capitol Hill Light Rail station. Blocks from Broadway. On Bellevue and Roy, right around the Corner from Top Pot. In the heart of everything, but our street is actually pretty quiet.
We have 3 floors, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry, huge gorgeous kitchen with lovely tile counters (with dishwasher and disposal,) hard wood floors everywhere, small yard with gardening potential, deck out front and a patio in the back, fireplaces upstairs and down, great natural light, and lots of cozy charm. Radiant heat in winter and AC in summer!
There are two rooms opening up in the near year (Jan 1, and then late Jan.)
Available Jan 1: Room with private bath downstairs (below the main shared floor) and is a nicely-appointed daylight basement with a private bathroom and closet. Your room is furnished (or can be unfurnished if you are looking for long term.) The rest of the house is fully furnished. The other two bedrooms are two floors up from your room. $900/month plus 1/3 utilities and cleaner. Could also be available short term for $1250/month all inclusive.
Available late January or Feb 1: Larger upstairs room with lots of windows and light, two closets. This room shares a bathroom with the one other bedroom/tenant on that floor. This room is $1050/month plus 1/3 utilities and cleaning. Could also be available short term for $1400/month all inclusive.
We share all utilities. We also have a house cleaner every other week.
Compared to the cost of a studio or 1-bedroom apartment in this neighborhood, living here is more economical, and you get an entire gorgeous house to enjoy.
Street parking only.
Pets: You’ll share a home with a sweet, mellow, small, non-shedding dog, two friendly and hilarious, though sometimes noisy parrots, and a ton of house plants. A very good dog with excellent references and little-to-no prey drive could be considered. We have a small yard. No cats (allergic.)
