About the room:
The house has five bedrooms, two bathrooms (one shower/tub), and includes hardwood flooring, ample window light, a front porch, a backyard vegetable garden, and a spacious basement with both washer, dryer, and studio space.
The available room is on the second floor, with 4 north-facing windows, high ceiling, hardwood floors, and its own closet.
*Ideally we are looking for someone who can make a 1 year commitment.
*There is some furniture available for the room if needed.
Other Costs:
- We split utilities 5 ways (gas, electric, water, internet), which amounts to approx. $120 per month (depending on the season).
- Move-in costs include first and last month’s rent, plus a $150 deposit
Some notes on accessibility:
- There are 23 steps up to the front door and 3 steps up to the back door.
- The washer/dryer are down a flight of stairs in the basement.
- The bathroom is on the first floor next to the available room (high, clawfoot tub).
- We are not a scent-free home
- Meat is sometimes cooked in the kitchen
About the roomies
- We are a mix of mid 20s to 40s with interests ranging in music, art, games, fashion
- We meet for a monthly house meeting to catch up with each other and attend to any issues that come up through the month.
- We are a social house, we play music
