The Room
The bedroom is on the second floor, no closet, but 2 clothing racks, and a large west facing window. You would share a bathroom on the second floor. The lease is for one year.
The House
Room for rent in a large LGBTQ+ house in Rainier Beach. We have 1 small dog and 2 cats. The house has 6 Bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a fun outdoor space with a garden/firepit/grill. We have a big garage with a washer/dryer, an extra fridge and storage space. The house has central AC/heating. We have ample parking.
The Neighborhood
We live in a low traffic residential area on top of a big hill. The house is a few minute drive from Safeway, Planet Fitness, the library and several bars & restaurants. The Rainier Beach Light Rail is a 10 minute walk away and 25 minutes to downtown. There are several amazing parks and greenways within walking distance. There is a free, no-waitlist community garden just half a block away.
The Housemates
We are five friends in our 30s with a variety of genders, sexual orientations, and racial identities. Unfortunately, we can't take in any more pets. We value community and enjoy hanging out together and we also like doing our own things.
